Jewelry Care

Care for Your Jewelry, Keep the Brilliance.

Fine jewelry is made to be worn and enjoyed.

With proper care, your lab-grown diamond and solid gold jewelry can maintain its beauty and brilliance for years to come.

Everyday Care

To help protect your jewelry:

  • Remove jewelry before exercising, swimming, showering, or sleeping

  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and household chemicals

  • Put jewelry on after applying cosmetics or skincare products

  • Avoid wearing jewelry during activities that may cause impact, scratching, or bending

Even durable materials can benefit from gentle handling.

Caring for Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds and are highly durable, but oils, lotions, and everyday residue can build up on the surface and reduce their sparkle.

To keep your diamond jewelry looking bright:

  • Wipe gently with a soft, lint-free cloth after wear

  • Clean periodically with warm water and mild soap

  • Use a soft toothbrush to gently clean around the setting

  • Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth

Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

Caring for Solid Gold

Our jewelry is crafted in solid 14K and 18K yellow gold.

Over time, gold may develop light surface marks or lose some shine with regular wear. This is normal and part of the natural life of fine jewelry.

To care for solid gold:

  • Store pieces separately to reduce scratching

  • Wipe gently with a soft polishing cloth

  • Avoid chlorine and strong household chemicals

  • Remove jewelry before swimming, especially in chlorinated pools

For deeper cleaning or polishing, we recommend professional jewelry care.

How to Clean Your Jewelry at Home

For most diamond and solid gold pieces, a simple at-home cleaning routine is enough.

  1. Fill a small bowl with warm water.

  2. Add a few drops of mild dish soap.

  3. Soak your jewelry for approximately 10–15 minutes.

  4. Gently clean around the diamond and setting with a soft toothbrush.

  5. Rinse carefully with clean water.

  6. Dry completely with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Always clean jewelry over a bowl or closed drain to avoid accidental loss.

Store Jewelry Separately

Diamonds are extremely hard and can scratch other jewelry, including gold and other gemstones.

We recommend storing each piece separately in:

  • Its original jewelry box

  • A soft pouch

  • A lined jewelry compartment

Avoid allowing diamond pieces to rub directly against one another.

Rings

Rings often experience more contact and impact than other types of jewelry.

Remove your ring before:

  • Working out

  • Cleaning

  • Gardening

  • Heavy lifting

  • Swimming

  • Using tools

We also recommend checking the prongs and setting periodically to make sure the center stone and accent diamonds remain secure.

Earrings

When putting on or removing earrings, handle them by the metal setting rather than pulling on the diamond.

Check earring backs regularly to make sure they remain secure.

Store pairs together in a protected jewelry box or pouch to help prevent loss or scratching.

Necklaces

Store necklaces flat or hanging separately to help prevent tangling.

Avoid pulling, twisting, or placing unnecessary tension on delicate chains.

When storing a pendant necklace, fasten the clasp before placing it in your jewelry box to reduce tangling.

Bracelets

Tennis bracelets and other diamond bracelets contain multiple settings and moving connections.

Avoid wearing them during activities that may cause repeated impact or excessive bending.

Make sure the clasp is fully secured before wearing, and periodically check that the safety mechanism is functioning properly.

Professional Inspection

For frequently worn pieces, especially rings and tennis bracelets, periodic professional inspection can help maintain the security of the stones and settings.

A jeweler can check:

  • Prongs

  • Clasps

  • Settings

  • Chain connections

  • Surface wear

Professional cleaning can also restore additional brilliance when needed.

Jewelry Made to Be Worn

Fine jewelry naturally develops character over time.

Small surface marks on gold can occur with regular wear and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

With thoughtful care and proper storage, your jewelry can continue to shine through everyday moments and special occasions alike.

Wear it often. Care for it well. Keep the brilliance.
